Melting Pot: Android Phones

The following images and article, created in May 2013 can act as road map for novice who wants to use an Android phone, a step beyong the Nanny stage living in an IT world.   Essentially a smart phone is a phone cum computer.  It can do almost everything that your PC desktop can do and ever do it better.
From Window 8 onwards, Microsoft is now in the catching up game.  Window 10 should do everything Android or iPhone can do; and more - it has the familiar desktop with all the applications like Excel.

You will say that you don't need an article like this to help because the smart phone apps are very intuitive, you are right. Whichever way you see it, smart mobile as a hand-held, is a great teaching aid for children; adults too.

Four (4) things we must have to live in this digital world.

Dated Sep 17.

  1. A Email Account with your User Name & Password.  Of course you already know how to get one from Google, Yahoo, HotMail, ICloud, etc. This is required for others to talk to you.
  2. A Smart Mobile Phone that servers can talk to you or you can log on to the web.  You may choose to have a iphone (IOS), Android (google) or  Window (eg win 10), all touch screen of course.
  3. A Bank Account for you to make financial transactions eg pay your credit card or any other payments.  No one want to see your face to receive you money, no, no.
  4. A Credit Card / Debit Card to make payment or be charged for the things or services you buy from the net.

Of course then you have to have a salary or some wealth to get a Credit Card or open a bank account.  More importantly you must be conversant in English, any of the EU languages and Asian languages especially Chinese because they too have poweful search engines eg Baido - so get educated.

Of course you may still rely on another human soul who have all these 4 things to serve you.

Why is this so?

To understand lets go through the process of buying an air ticket from the web which almost all of us are doing on our own without help.

  1. You log in to the web using your mobile then browse to your airline portal eg AirAsia.com, MalaysiaAirlines.com, SingaporeAir.com.
  2. Next you make your bookings through the air line portal following carefully their step by step instructions and constraints.  All these is done in your mobile, tabloid, laptop or desktop PC.
  3. Once you commit to payment, portal will ask for you Card Card details.  On "Submit", a One Time Password (usually 6#) will be sent to your mobile phone number.
  4. You will then have to type back this Password into the portal to complete the transaction.  If successful, your handphone will ring and warned you of the charge to your credit card.
  5. A month later, you have to pay your credit from your bank account.
  6. Once a while, your airline will email to your account to keep you inform or induce you to upgrade and pay more.

So now are you convince why we must have the foursome!!  This is the sad thing of the digital world.

This article created in May 2013, as I said before, is still good as a road map for novice to master a Android phone. May be you can learn a thing or two from it too. 乐Peace2U from FuzMic

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could
add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter
updates. I've been looking for a plug-in like
this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to
your new updates.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get set up?
I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?

I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

of course like your web site however you have to check
the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are
rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to inform the
reality nevertheless I will certainly come back again.
